What Are Abilities?
Abilities are active powers or skills that your character can use in combat or other situations. Unlike perks, which provide passive bonuses, abilities require mana, stamina, or other resources to activate. Abilities can dramatically alter how you fight and what tactics you employ during combat.

Each weapon in New World has its own set of active abilities that players can unlock and level up through weapon mastery. As you use a weapon more often, you’ll unlock new abilities and additional upgrades to New World coins enhance them.
